Kannawidan festival. This special occasion in every Ilocano
seems strange on me because i am from a manila and im not used and don’t have
yet any gatherings and occasion such as festive here in ilocos but this Kannawidan
festival made me proud to be here in ilocos .
As a changed residence person its my first time to enter a
kannawidan festival which is held every year in vigan, a i enter i saw a lot of
products, ornaments and things which is produced by different cities that
joined in only one place . here we could see different products that makes
every provinces proud of their product because i would say it was very unique
such as the basi of ilocos and their pots that made vigan a trademark this . in
this said festival we could also learned and gained a lot of things such as
what these provinces products that made them unique .
Kannawidan festival is a festive which the every one of us
must be a part of it , so come on to Kannawidan festival .
